Chic Couture-Shopping Style

Ah....Friday!!  I'm excited for the weekend!  Me, my sis, mom and a few ladies from church are heading out tomorrow morning to the Dayspring Outlet Warehouse sale in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.  It's an annual thing that's always the weekend before Black Friday weekend.  Mom and I went last year for the first time and enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to make it an annual affair for ourselves!!  I'm excited to add my sister and some sisters in Christ too! ☺

I'll be dressing comfy cute, pretty much this....

How do you dress for a shopping outing?  I like to be comfy but stylish too!! Well for the most part, being a stay at home mom has made being stylish a bit more challenging.  Hunkie prefers jeans and tshirts but if I'm going somewhere special or fun I just can't do it! Cute little story ....Wednesday night we were in charge of leading worship.  Wednesday nights are pretty casual at my church but being on stage and being a leader requires more than just a tshirt in my opinion.  We took Lil' Hunkie for his 2 year checkup earlier in the afternoon and I went ahead, like a normal person, and dressed myself for the entire day.  Dress jeans, black top with lace cutouts in the sleeves, dark grey pointy flats, silver jewelry which included a long bead/chain necklace layered with a long purse locket necklace.  After getting ready, Hunkie looks at Lil' Hunkie and says "Momma dressed like she's going to a ball!"  

Oh dear.  I'm still chuckling! I've decided to interpret that as "You look nice" and leave it at that!
