Chic Couture-A Pink Tribute

As we all know October is breast cancer awareness month.  So today is all about my favorite color!! And some lovely items I found...isn't it nice to buy something and it go towards a good cause?

And one more thing, today is in honor of my Grandma, my mom's mom.

She had breast cancer and went through treatment and recovered.  But not long after that, about a year and half later, she passed from heart failure.  That was September of 1973...I never got to meet her.  Which makes looking forward to Heaven all that much sweeter. And although we've not met, we are a lot alike in several ways...we have the same middle name, she liked to make sweets like I do, and I do believe I get my thoughtfulness from her. {Actually I get that from both my grandmothers!} 

I really long to meet her...so today I want to honor  her....
