Doesn't seem like 10 years has passed since the day our country was forever changed. I still remember where I was...how I found out. I had taken a week of vacation from work for our annual ladies weekend retreat at church. If memory serves me, it was Tuesday... I had slept in...when I woke up I went in to the living room and my brother had the TV on just kinda looking at it...it only took a few seconds to figure out what was going on. "What has happened?" was my thought. The rest is heartbreaking. I am fortunate to have not lost anyone or even know of someone who was lost.
Romans 8:28 AMP
"We are assured and know that [God being a partner in their labor] all things work together and are [fitting into a plan] for good to and for those who love God and are called according to [His] design and purpose."
I'm a firm believer that you can always find good in any bad. I'm prouder to be an American because of 9/11. We came together to heal and rebuild. I'm truly sorrowed at the loss of all life from that day but to honor those who we longer have we must keep the spirit of patriotism alive....we must find the good from the bad.
To those of you who did suffer a loss of a loved one.....
I remember and I will never forget.
Here's to being a proud American.

You couldn't have said it any better. Thanks from all military families serving now in places not so great.
Also, loving your blog- new follower here.

Oh wow, it's hard to think that 10 years have passed by since that day. I don't think I will ever forget where I was when I saw the news coverage, or my emotions. And now that I have children of my own, I feel even more different about that day.
Thanks for sharing.
I so agree Jennifer! I put my own tribute to 9/11 on my blog. Such a tragedy for our country & the families involved.
Blessings,
Cindy
