I hope you aren't getting tired of this series!! I'm not! I get so excited every time I "redo" a necklace and can't hardly wait to share it with you!! I knew I wanted to do an all metal look and this week is it!! And this was so easy....ah the magic of the jump ring!
Supplies:
Goodwill Necklace-the tri-tone bead one
2 Chain Necklaces- different lengths
Jump rings
*The two chain necklaces and jump rings I got at Hobby Lobby for half off! So this is about a $7 project!
Started by taking off the clasp.
Then I took the connector ring off of the silver chain.
I then used a jump ring to add the bead necklace to the outside of the bronze chain. I just eyeballed what length I wanted it to be on myself. ☺
*Please forgive the dry, mommy hands!*
Again, eyeballing I measured out how long I wanted the silver chain to be...turned out to be 13 links. I then had to bend a link with pliers to get the 13 links....I know have a short chain that will be probably be made into a bracelet in the near future!
Attached the silver chain to the same jump ring but on the inside of the bronze chain.
Tada!! A layered metal look!!
Nice little spruce up to a Goodwill find don't ya think?
